Odewald KMU supports the HiOffice Group in its acquisition of fach.digital and Morawitz Consulting

HiOffice Group GmbH (formerly High Office IT GmbH), in which Odewald KMU holds a majority stake, successfully acquired fach.digital GmbH in Germany and Morawitz Consulting GmbH in Austria in December 2025. With these two transactions, HiOffice Group is launching its buy-and-build strategy and completing its first two add-on acquisitions as planned in 2025.

fach.digital is a social recruiting provider founded in 2017 and based in Bonn, Germany, with around 20 employees operating throughout Germany. Its service portfolio includes target group analyses, the setup and management of recruitment campaigns, the development and improvement of employer branding, the creation of career pages and, in particular, the design and implementation of effective social media recruitment strategies. The customer focus is primarily on industrial and handicraft companies, which makes fach.digital an excellent strategic fit to complement HiOffice Group’s existing customer base in the social and healthcare sectors.

Morawitz Consulting is a social recruiting provider founded in 2021 and headquartered in Mattersburg (Austria), which operates in Austria with around 30 employees. Similar to HiOffice and fach.digital, its service portfolio includes recruitment, employer branding and the digitalisation of recruitment processes via social media. Morawitz Consulting serves various customer groups and complements the HiOffice Group in particular by entering the Austrian market.

With these two acquisitions, the HiOffice Group is strengthening its position as a comprehensive provider of technology- and AI-supported end-to-end solutions in recruitment process outsourcing (RPO). The HiOffice Group covers the entire recruitment process – from employer branding, candidate acquisition and pre-selection to consulting and process digitalisation – and is continuing to expand its product, service and software portfolio in a targeted manner.

Thus, since Odewald KMU acquired a stake in the HiOffice Group in September 2025, two acquisitions have already been completed within a few months. As a result, the HiOffice Group, with its comprehensive service portfolio and diversified customer base, particularly in the healthcare and industrial sectors, is already one of the leading recruitment process outsourcing providers in the DACH region, with almost 100 employees at its locations in Braunschweig, Bonn, Mattersburg and Vienna.

In addition to further organic development, the HiOffice Group plans to accelerate growth through additional acquisitions, technological development and targeted internationalisation, and to sustainably expand its market position as a leading platform in the RPO sector.
