I. Processing
Personal data is processed on this website as part of the following procedures:
1. Subscribing to a newsletter
2. Contacting us
3. Server log files
4. Use of cookies
II. Processing procedures
a. Newsletter
If you subscribe to one of our newsletters, we will use the data you provide and the e-mail address you have provided. Data is not passed on to third parties.
The legal basis for data processing is your consent, which you have given when registering for the newsletter (art. 6 para. 1a of the GDPR). A cancellation is possible at any time, free of charge, via the unsubscribe link. Alternatively, you can send an e-mail to info@odewaldkmu.com
The personal data stored as part of the newsletter subscription will be deleted once you have successfully unsubscribed from the newsletter.
b. Contacting us
Our dialogue page enables you to contact us. In this case, the information you provide will be processed for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise. Data is not passed on to third parties.
The legal basis is art. 6 para. 1a and 1f of the GDPR. On the one hand, the processing of the data is based on your consent, which you have declared in connection with the contact request. In addition, the processing of personal data by the person responsible within the scope of “legitimate interest” is permitted, as long as your basic rights, basic freedoms or interests do not outweigh this. Our legitimate interest consists of processing the contact. You may object to this data processing at any time if there are reasons which exist in your particular situation and which speak against the data processing. All you need to do is send an e-mail to info@odewaldkmu.com.
The personal data stored in connection with the contact will be deleted if the concern associated with the contact has been completely clarified and it is not expected that the specific contact will become relevant again in the future.
c. Server log files
Each time you access this website, we automatically collect a series of technical data, which relates to personal data.
This comprises:
- the user’s IP address
- name of the website or file that was accessed
- date and time of the access
- volume of data transmitted
- successful access message
- browser type and version
- the user’s operating system
- device used by the user, including MAC address
- referrer URL (the site visited previously)
IP addresses are assigned to every device (e.g. smartphone, tablet, PC) that is connected to the Internet. These can be dynamic IP addresses, for example when you are connected to the Internet via your private WLAN connection, or static addresses that have been permanently assigned to a WLAN provider. Except for the purpose of tracking unauthorised access to our website, we do not use this data on a personal basis, but on an anonymous basis, to find out which of our subpages are favoured, how many accesses are made daily, and so on.
We do not share this information with third parties.
The personal data in log files is processed on the basis of art. 6 para. 1f of the GDPR. This permission allows the processing of personal data within the scope of “legitimate interest” by the person responsible, as long as your basic rights, basic freedoms or interests do not outweigh this. Our legitimate interest is to facilitate administration, to improve our offers and to detect and track hacking. You may object to this data processing at any time if there are reasons which exist in your particular situation and which speak against the data processing. All you need to do is send an e-mail to info@odewaldkmu.com.
The server log files with the above data are automatically deleted after 30 days. We reserve the right to store the server log files for a longer period if there are facts that suggest an illegal access (such as an attempt to hack or a so-called DDOS attack).
d. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device by the browser used when you visit our website. You can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that restricts or completely prevents cookies from being stored. However, it should be noted that use, and in particular user convenience, are restricted without cookies.
Below is a list of the cookies we use.
Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps to display interactive maps and to provide directions. Google Maps is a mapping service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. By using Google Maps, information about the use of this website, including your IP address and the (starting) address entered as part of the route planner function, can be transmitted to Google in the USA. If you visit a website of our Internet presence that contains Google Maps, your browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of Google. The map content is transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the website by Google. Therefore, we have no influence on the extent of the data collected by Google in this way. According to our knowledge, it includes at least the following data:
- the date and time of the visit to the relevant website;
- the Internet address or URL of the website visited;
- the IP address, (starting) address entered as part of the route planning.
We have no influence on the further processing and use of the data by Google and therefore cannot accept any responsibility for this. If you do not want Google to collect, process or use data about you via our website, you can disable JavaScript in your browser settings. In this case, however, you will not be able to use the map display.
The purpose and extent of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google, as well as your rights and settings for the protection of your privacy, can be found in Google’s data protection notices (https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de). There, you will also find an opt-out option.
The legal basis for the processing is on the one hand your consent (art. 6 para. 1a of the GDPR), which you have granted with the use of our website, as well as our legitimate interest (art. 6 para. 1f of the GDPR). This permission allows the processing of personal data within the scope of “legitimate interest” by the person responsible, as long as your basic rights, basic freedoms or interests do not outweigh this. Our legitimate interest is in improving our services, in particular physical accessibility. You may object to this data processing at any time if there are reasons which exist in your particular situation and which speak against the data processing. All you need to do is send an e-mail to info@odewaldkmu.com.
Personal references are immediately removed by the partial deletion of the IP addresses, so that only statistical data is permanently stored.
Borlabs Cookie
This website uses Borlabs Cookie, which places a technically necessary cookie (borlabs-cookie) in order to store your cookie consent.
Borlabs Cookie does not process any personal data.
The ‘borlabs-cookie’ cookie stores the consent you have given when you entered the website. If you wish to revoke these consents, simply delete the cookie from your browser. If you re-enter/reload the website, you will be asked again for your cookie consent.
C. Your rights
You have the right to receive information about the personal data that has been stored about you, free of charge, on request. In addition, you have the right to correct incorrect data, the right to demand the restriction of the processing of data processed too extensively and the right to delete data that has been processed wrongfully or stored for too long (unless there is a statutory obligation to store data and no other reasons, in accordance with art. 17 para. 3 of the GDPR). In addition, you have the right to transfer all data you provide to us in a common file format (right to data portability). Insofar as you have a right to object to individual processes and to the processing, we have pointed this out above. Any consent granted may be revoked at any time, with future effect.
To exercise your rights, just send an e-mail to info@odewaldkmu.com.
In addition, you also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
